Can anyone post some pics of an AEM cai installed?

What I really want to see is the angle it sticks out of the engine bay into the fender well.

Some pics inside the engine bay would be helpful as well.

Thanks,

Thanks everyone for the great responses. I'm most interested in seeing how the filter fits in the fender well. Here is a pic of my Injen, I am looking for the same photo of an AEM install.

(Before anyone ask the black spot is undercoating spray that I had to put on because the stupid f**king monkeys that at a local speed shop did not cut my wheel well plastics right and it rubbed the paint off my cai, never let morons work on your car.)

Thinking about switching to AEM for the better low end gains.

Also pondering the mystery as to why the AEM has better low end gains.

The answer must be in the bends because they are both basically just pipes with a K&N type filter stuck on the end.

Is the AEM cai pipe shorter than the Injen?

i would think that you would want top end power since this is a top end car and you race 6k+ so i dont really see the point of more low end when it drives just fine

just wonderin

Good point, but even before I modded my car I was more than happy with the top end Performance, and I do enjoy the high end power that the Injen has given me, however the times and places that I can truly enjoy that high end are few and far between.

It's no secret that the fun zone for the Celica GTS is between 6 and 8K, unfortunately that is usually also the go to jail zone if your caught there.

I'm thinking more about daily driving. More low end tq would be better for that. Less need to rev as high when launching or just moving from a stop.

Not sure if I will switch to AEM or not, just doing research at this point, though based on testimonial from Celica owners who have used both Intakes the differences between Injen and AEM are not all that great. The debate rages on.

i have the AEM and i like the low power a lot. i have an auto, and the most noticable difference for me is going up hills and not having to shift from 4th to 3rd
