Toyota's current ad campaign is a classic example;
The "Toyota Nationwide Sales Drive"
The commercial is centered around a racing theme with lots of black and white checkered flags and Toyota vehicles driving fast (mostly trucks) and the announcer uses lots of words like sporty..fast..performace..etc, but not a Celica or MR2 anywhere in sight.
I agree that they don't really "hate" the Celica per say, and that Celica pretty much sells itself, and according to my dealer new ones don't stay on the lot for more than a week.
But Damn it would be nice if their advertising at least acknowledged the existence of the Celica.
And better TRD
support! Matrix and Corolla get superchargers b4 us, that's messed up. Would it be so hard for TRD
to release a CAI
or ECU tweaks..etc etc?
Yeah I know there are a million marketing reasons why they dont and they all suck.
