I was wondering what some of you thought about port and polishing and even shaving a 00 GTS.. like if some of you have had it done. what results you have gotten. Let me know what you guys all think? Also about the shaving.. which i think gives what.. more compression? like what does that do to my engine and the valve timing and all that?
Any help is appreciated .. thanks!

Port and Polish is supposed to do wonders for your engine... But from what I hear its expensive. Start off by adding an Intake, Exhaust, Headers, Pulleys, Apex'i PFC and some Grounding Wires. If you do all that correctly and tune the PFC well you should be able to get about 25whp. Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

PNP with stock ECU wont do as much as PNP with the power fc. mod order should go... 1) Intake 2) exhaust 3) power fc + tuning you should run like this until you can hit 13's consistent. 4) header + tuning 5) pnp + you might as well get new springs/valves 6) weight reduction: race battery, C/F hood, light weight rims... etc... good luck

motor mount not mounted motor and I would advise against any crank pulley for the gts. 1) they are not safe. 2) they dont get as much gains as you think there are safer/cheaper ways to get the same affect.

thanks for the information... right now i have an OBX Racing exhaust, and a short ram Intake.
I will definetly go with some pulleys, grounding wires, and the Apex'i PFC.
What are some good headers out there that aren't terribly expensive?
