i don't know the dimensions but it's rather easy to make a mold of your ashtray.

use some very thin plastic sheet (like a ziploc bag) and put it inside of your ashtray. then stuff the ashtray with play-doh or modeling clay or anything that is pliable and will hold its shape. when taken out, you should have the correct dimensions and can make a mold out of that thumbsup

to go along with my previous posts: after you take it out, you can measure that quite easily (so your chances of getting it wrong are quite small). or you can continue to make a mold out of it with paper mache, Fiberglass, or even pottery clay, etc. if you plan on fabricating your own thumbsup

just remember that if you are going to make a mold...

its good to stuff the ashtry with something that won't get too hard or something that will be easy to break up. that way when you take it out and you start forming the mold around it (whatever material you use for the actual mold) that the form won't stay 'glued' to the sides...because obviously then the mold wont do any good if you can't get the form out of it. thumbsup
