Just curious, is a tranny swap from a GTS into a GT, possible?

possible, but when you consider the cost and labour it's not really worth it. And anyways, the GTS tranny is geared for the GTS power and torque curve, so i don't see a lot of advantage of having one on a GT besides the 1 extra gear!

Might do some good, don't know for sure because havn't heard anyone else do it.

The difference between a GTS 6 speed and a auto is like 1 second in 1/4 mile. All because of the tranny.
