ST is the slowest model you can get.
It's what I own, I'd know, lol.

Just go with a GTS if you want speed =P

i would get a gts because it has 4 wheel disk brakes. but anyway any of them you can bolt in a 3sgte (turbo motor) wihtout much hassle.

for Turbo apps the ST which has a 7afe motor is good for about 8 psi with out internal work done. also the GT which has the 5sfe motor is good for boost too about 8-10 psi.

now as for the picture above that motor is a 3sgte which is good for modding. the motor will drop with little to no modifications.

now if you want the stock AWD 5th gen celica then its call a Alltrac which is AWD Turbo and stock with what i beleive is 185 hp not sure though. but its a heavy bitch!.

if your in the San diego area i know of a guy selling a 5th gen alltrac hit me up and ill give you his contact number.

ways to tell 5th gens apart well rear drums are for the ST and rear disk are for the GT and GTS. if your looking for the all trac check and see what the hood looks like if it has a schoop then its an all trac.

i have a 93' ST (slow trak) and it's pretty boring to drive since it's automatic. i'd go for a gt or gts. all the 5th gens are n/a except for the All Trac which is of course awd Turbo. power ratings are estimated: 200hp and 200 lb/ft tq.
weight-3,219 which isn't bad considering the drive shaft and the rear end.

Future plans: suspension, 3SGTE powa from 2nd gen MR2
