sounds like trouble. check the gain and all that other shit, plus any crossovers on the amp.

music is coming out of the sub? as in mids and highs? then that means that your inputing the av cables to your unit in the wrong input. what kind of cd player do you have? also check to see if the power level of the amp is turned up, if there is sound but not enough turn the power up. you also might want to check your antenna cable make sure its conected to the right cable. if your ground isnt secured to a good spot you can get static. might also want to check the actual subs.

Well i have a pioneer right now..the 200 and some odd dollar one you buy at walmart ..just until i get a screen. But anyways i havent chaged anything as far as settings really..the sub just kinda quit on me..and as far as the music coming outta the sub it sounds like a 6x9 speaker right now..so i am wondering if maybe it is a wire that runs inside the sub box from the plug in on the side of the box to the sub maybe?...or would it be the amp make more sense?

check the back of your deck, the wiring seems to be wrong. the av cables from your amp (red and black , maybe red and white) should be coming from the amp to a rear sub output. was your system working before? if so then your subs are blown. if not dont turn the volume up to high because mids and highs can make your subs blow. you amp is fine if it make sound go through to the amps. check your wiring. on your amp make sure the filter is set to lows and basically just check the way your wiring is set up. the problem is either in the wiring or your subs thumbsup good luck

if you have any other questions ask away.. let me know how it turns out

Thanks guys i got it going...it wasnt the wiring sub or amp or any of that.It was the ground connection..i was right that the ground wire was tight but somehow since installing the ground the hole made itself bigger than it was...dont ask me how..so everytime i hit a bump or closed my hatch it lost connection..i just got a bigger bolt and that took care of it..thanks guys thumbsup
