I am confused anout my tire preasure. In this web site, it said add the air to MAX PSI(mine is 51). But on my door, it said recommand 29 PSI. Mine is stock tire, but 29 seems too little, when I bought the car, it's 35. Now my PSI is 37. How much air should I put?

the reccommended tire pressure is for the normal tires and tire sizes,

if you have different tire sizes and or tires that number goes out the window.

i usually have mine at around 36 psi I have a gts, and that seems to work best for me

too high or too low and you get improper wear on your tires

if you go too low, you may see a drop in gas mileage

32 is the right amount for the 205/50R16 stock GTS tires, I think 36 is the 195 65 R15 GT tires

with too low a tire pressure you get roll over and the tires dont grip properly under hard cornering,

which is why mine are set higher wink

On the side of the tire it should have a max PSI rating on it. That's what you should keep the tire at. Becareful though, that's a cold tire rating.

So you need to check them a few hours after you've drivin your car, don't go out for a 50 mile drive and then check them, because the friction has built up hot air inside (there for expanded) and also make sure that it's not 100 degrees out side when you check them. For those of you who don't know the diff. between cold and hot [/color]
