Probably the company that tried selling that tornado thing for your stock airbox... that gave you like "15 hp".

You know, some people will bad mouth this product in a heartbeat, but when AEM spouts the same nonsense about their V2 Intakes (tuned sound waves=better Performance) they eat this BS up like it's going out of style.

I say don't knock it until you try it. Hell, Arospeed and Tanabe have both released exhaust sytems/mufflers with turbines to regulate backpressure at different engine speeds, and they seem to work like they say.

People are always discrediting innovations without trying them first hand, and frankly, it makes me sick.

Sure we can all think of some examples: The PowerNEO for one (a $150 magnet that goes on the fuel rail) but some people actually show positive results, even on a Dyno, so if the gains can be dyno proven for this muffler vs. a conventional canister, I'm fairly certain people would clam up pretty quick on the matter.

Hell, at least some people are trying to innovate in this market, after a while, I sart to get sick of seeing the same crud come out of the parts bins... Everybody else just tries ripping off everybody else's ideas all the time... it gets tired.

I bet this thing would work as well as any other race muffler out there at the very least; it's pretty hard to screw up a muffler. If anything, it should sound cool (in theory anyways).

BTW, this idea is nothing new; Borla, bosal and pacesetter have all, at one time or another, made exhausts with venturi tips on them (finned exhaust tips that cool down exhaust gasses prior to exiting the tip, thus creating a pressure drop and improved flow) it's a time-tested method, which is different than the one the Aeroturbine uses, but the end result is the same.

you bring up a good point Rave669 I mean not until someone actually tests it can we then know that it is POS. at least stuff like those chips on eBay that has been tested and proven worthless..

I dont think this new muffler will +15hp to the crank nor to the wheels, maybe another 5 or so is more like it, I will certainly not be the first to try it out. smile
