Well a couple off weeks ago, i started hearing some ratteling noises at the back off my car, when i gave some gas! From my past experience from driving a Honda Del Sol (yes i know...a Honda! ) i instantly knew that it had to be my exhaust! At first i thought the bolts had gone lose...however it turned out to be much MUCH WORSE!!! Because of all the vibrations a welding had 'snapped' (see the unclear picture nr. 1) It seems that the shop where they repainted my car and installed the kit and exhaust (normally i would have done that myself, but they where at it so i thought...let them install it also) forgot to put a rubber between the mounting place (of the exhaust) and chassis of the car! 1/6

4/6 To bad the welding didn't hold (we tried it 4 times, but everytime it snapped when we turned the bolts tight!) so we had to come up with another solution... We took a piece of Alu and made a U-profile which we screwed (better than welding!)against the mounting of the exhaust

5/6 a rubber piece for between the chassis and the exhaust, one they should have used in the first place!!!

6/6 Of course this isn't the best solution...but i don't just want to throw away an exhaust that costs around 850,- (maybe in the future i will let it be welded by a prof, but for now...it's mounted perfect...and no more ratteling )

Does your dad know how to do Argon welding? That's what Tanabe used on my TUM, so that's what you can try next time. Nice exhaust
