Check Out My New Deck...
Eclipse CD8443

- this is before I get the center console wrapped in Carbon Fiber and perhaps either move my start button and switches underneath the head unit, or put an equalizer in there...

I'm not feelin that little opening underneath the stereo so give me some opinions as to what I should put in there... wave

- I'm leaning more towards an equalizer in there. Anyone have any suggestions for a good quality one that will fit in the 1/2 din slot?

I think I've seen a few in the stereo pic thread but I can't recall who else has put an equalizer under there. I'd prefer it to light up blue at night for an added visual.

Looks nice. The opening will probably be less noticable once you put your carbon fiber on. At least mine is. Pardon my ignorance, but is the Engine Start button functional, or is it just for looks?

yeah, I already have that but the slot underneath my receiver is 1/2 din and I need a single din to fit the Ignited panel. That's why I put my start button in the cig lighter and my Carbon Fiber switches to the lower left of the steering wheel...

Eclipse doesn't have any online retailers as Fujitsu values customer service. Therefore one must actually go to a location to buy their products. I got mine from Tweeter...

hey Sultan, where'd you go to get your center console wrapped in Carbon Fiber and how much did it cost?

good idea - I'll consider it, although I'd rather put something functional in there - like an equalizer...

if you can find a equalizer that fits do that, if not get it wrapped cause it look like butt j/k. if you were ever going to put a ps2 and tvs in there you can put the extension controller cables up to there and then have the controllers plug into that spot. my friend has it done on his is300 because the ps2 in installed inhis trunk just an idea
