I was goin do this 2 lane road on my home today. I was pretty tired and kinda slumped down in my seat. This blue VW jetta was slowing down cause a car infront of him was waiting to turn. So i started to slow down. I guess i must have looked away at something cause then i looked back up and saw this blue car stopped about 15 in front of me. So i slammed on my brakes and heard them squealing. In about .5 of a second four thoughts went through my mind 1. Oh god im going to crash 2. Well i wont hit them that hard so it wont be top bad 3. whats this going to do to my insurance 4. What am i gonna tell mom. So my i barely stop it was seriously like 2 inches from their back bumper. And i was so happy. There was all sorts of smoke from my tires but i didnt hit anything. So i guess the moral is dont drive when your tired. Try to find something to keep your brain active cause it could have turned out a lot worse.

one time i was driving home from a party all alone . i was really tired, my eyes were really really heavy.it was like 5 in the morning. I was struggling to keep them opened. anyways i was about 5 minutes from my house at a stop light i began to daze off but then i caught myself so i woke up. a minute or two later on a long stretch, downhill road i fell asleep, some how i woke up and found my self no more then 10 feet in front a big tree. first thing that went to my mind 1.) Oh shit a fukkin tree, better turn the car b4 i crash. 2.) what the fuck just happened 3.) need to stay up for the 4 minutes to get home... and dayum i was WIDE AWAKE. For that entire week i couldnt stop thinking about it. I was so lucky. any second later and i swore i was going to hit that tree at like 30-40mph i woulda been dead. I have learned my lesson. and i'll never drive when im that tired again.

that happened to my dad in 1973...he was driving back from a dance at school an 1:30 in the morning and he started to fall asleep going 100+ in his camaro my grandpa bought for him...and when he woke up he was in a dirt field going 85+, but since he was in an open field he kept his speed and pulled back on the road...if he had stopped in the muddy field he would have gotten stuck rofl...but he never fell asleep again...but he still speeds even today rolleyes

When I am tired I used to crank my stereo but that just vibrated my seats and put me to sleep.

yah windows down helps a bit.. brings in more oxygen..

kinda like how in a classroom all the windows and door is shut so all the oxygen gets used up.. but then again the boring professor adds to the excitment..

But close call glad you were safe!! thumbsup
