^^ I was at pep Boys and was going to schedule a appointment for them to install it, but the lady at the counter told me that they didn't have it for the Celica...is that true???

Could be, I was there last weekend and I saw they had a huge selection of them. I assumed they would have them for a Celica, considering they had the part I needed
( alternator for 89 Mitsubishi pickup). So maybe not

^^ You can install it yourself I dont think it's hard at all. Pep boys should have what you need, I thought car batteries are universal for the most part. Anyways, this is taken directly from Optima's site

i actually like the handling of his 87 camry over my mom's 95.. but neither of which can top the celica..stock..
I'll have to get one of these batteries when mine dies.. but yellow is the best it seems

yah I saw a video clip of an 80's model camry that some guys turned into an "RC camry" it looks funny. I'll post it up when i find it.

Optima will fit and you can install it all yourself. You need the 34/78 or something like that. I have that and it fits fine even with a strut bar.
