welp i ordered my headunit (alpine 9827)
now i need to get wiring and dash kit
okay now here my question, where is the cheapest place i an get them, can you guys hook it up with links or places to get em, and also what kind of wiring, is there a difference in the different kinds of wiring, if there is let me know post link and stuff back, thanks grin

all depends on if you have the GTS or the GT
the GTS can be kind of a bitch to hook up because you have to run it thru the pre-amp which can be kind of tricky. there is an install guide for either one under installs though, that's how i did mine with the GTS and i got through it ok thumbsup

oh well i got a GT, but i was wondering about the wiring, can you tell a difference with the different kind of wiring there is out there, and can someone help me with what kind to get.

dude you should have bought ur alpine from crutchfield.com..they'll give you everything you need to install ur stereo..free wiring harness, free installing kit, FREE INSTRUCTIONS so you won't screw up..if you got ur alpine cheaper from somewhere esle then i suggest go to ur local audio shop and get it from them..or try crutchfield.com or discoutave.net..good luck?

well i got the alpine headunit for 185 brand new, so im not to disappointed, yeah i found a dash kit for only 14.99, i wont need a harness do i? shouldnt i just get wiring instead??
