Where can i find a place like kellys blue book that show me how much less would a car (celica) would worth if it has been in an accident, here is why. i got in a wreck last week and it was not my fault the car is getting fixed of course and getting back to its exellent condition like it was before the wreck. But because ppl can search and see that it was in a wreck if i ever want to sell it i would still get less money for it (even if the car is still in exellent condition) So my insurance wants me to get them an estimite of around how much would i be losing on my car do you guys know of a site like that or where can i get an estimite like that. Thx for your help

Your insurance wants you to do that? That doesn't sound right.

I know what you are talking about!! Just two weeks after I bought my celica (BRAND SPANKIN' NEW) some dumb lady backed her big ol' SUV into my passenger door. grrr Anyway...her insurance was only going to pay for damages and for a rental. My dad and I were like, "no, you are going to pay for the depreciation of my car's value now" We fought back and forth with her insurance company... obviously insurance companies like to rip people off, and only agreed to pay $250 for the loss of my car's value...as if $250 covers it. But it was either that or nothing. I suggest going to www.kbb.com [ kbb.com], and finding the Kelley Blue Book value of your car before the accident, and then doing it again to find what it is worth now (after the accident). Then find out what the difference is...and tell the stupid insurance company to pay you. Good luck with that last part.

Hope they dont label the car a "salvage" title, if so, that takes away a HUGE chunk of your potential buyers, more than half if not bigger.
