Ok, so I was going to a doctors appointment today. I pulled into the wrong building, got out, called someone on my phone for the right address, got back in to the car, started it up, put it in reverse, and *click* *click*...at first, I thought it was a flat. Or, at least something in my tire. Then, I thought.."hmmmm could be a valve."
Then I ate my words. The car died. Totally. Nothing would turn on at all. I am thinking I bent a valve. However, I have no idea how... I HONESTLY wasn't running at a high rpm...4k MAX! I have no idea how anything went wrong...
So, I had it towed. I have pics but I accidently left my cable for my camera in my celica... When I arrived at the dealership I told them I thought a valve was bent. First thing the dealer ask, "Were you running it at a high rpm?" I said, "No, I was actually going in reverse when it happened..." Anyways, I am a 35915 on the odometer. Lucky for me.
I am just affraid those dumbasses at the dealership will be like, "Yeah we reset the ECU and everything looks fine thank..." And then it will die again...I swear...

Dealers blow ass. A guy I worked with got his tires rotated and they tighted up his lugs to tight and now his rotors are warped. And they clame it wasnt them. They have screwed him over MANY times. IO hate dealer shops

Threaten them for a Lemon Lawsuit if they don't fix it right the first or second time. I would, would because my warranty is almost over.

^^ sounds good... it's stuff like this why I'd want to take up some mechanic course on the side so I'd know how to fix my car myself..

Have I got a story for you. I took my Celi to the dealership to get my rear view glued back on because no matter what I did it kept falling. So I temporarily glued it back on til the date of the appt. I get it back and there is like a 4 inch crack in the windshield where the mirror goes. I said why do I have a cracked windshield. They said it was like that when I brought it in. So I'm standing their argueing about it and how I know it wasn't like that. So I go home with a cracked windshield. We call them again complaining. Nothing. Call them again complaining. Nothing. In the meantime my mirror falls off with a chunk of windshield. Here it turns out they took a dam chunk of winshield with the mirror when they pulled the miorror off. They glued the chunk back into the windshield because there was glue in between the chunk and the windshield. Turns out they call and say theyll fix it at no cost for free. Just got it back yesterday with my new windshield and mirror glued on. Gotta love dealerships and how they are scamming low life pieces of shit!
