hey ppl my cousin just got his carbon fiber 4 his celica and i dont know if you noticed it come w/ some lil rubber mounts to stop it from hitting the frame of the car cause we need one and where can we get some confused
it looks something like this

use hoodpins to keep your hood securely fastened to the base of your car...

the rubber "weather strip" is all thats needed between your hood and the bumper

no its not the pins or the rubber that goes between or hood and the bumber this things r stuck on the hood and they r made outa rubber and the hood is a VIS hood

what I am saying is that you do NOT need those things... they are there on the stock hood so that it does not get damaged when you slam your hood... its probably NOT a good thing to slam your carbon fiber hood - thus, there is no need for those rubber things.

besides, you SHOULD get hood pins or you are just driving around asking for troubles.

...the hood pins go in the location where those rubber pieces that you are talking about usta go.

hoodpins cost less then $30 and can save you $1,200 and up... they can even save your life! shocked
