A friend of my found in a junk yard a wreck celica...

So He start look at it... and he find that the celica have H.I.D.

So he take them to put on his civic... but in fact they don't fit on his civic... So he offer me to buy them for 30 buck rofl rofl rofl

I don't know what brand they are and if they are 4300k or 6000k

but the thing is ... there only one bulb that is working...

How can cust a H.I.D. bulb...

Should I take them ????

Thanks

it would have been better if you could get two HID celica headlamps from the junkyard tongue those are harder to come by

if he's only selling you the bulb its only worth about $30 a bulb... its the ballast thats really costly..

sounds pretty weird to me. the HID kit that the celica comes with from the dealer is not just its kit and bulbs, it also has its motor on the headlight that always beams ur lights to the floor when the road is shaky. that motor is installed on the headlight and the headlight is a bit different on these celicas. so make sure its gonna fit before you buy it. 30 bucks is a sick price, DEFINETLY BUY IT!

and that Celica GTS was nice...
Nitrous
intake
R1 dual Gauge + RPM (Probably gonna take that too !)
HID
Eclipse sound system
LCD screen on the sun visor
18 inch wheel's
Carbonfiber hood scoop
etc...

if its one ballast and one bulb the for $30 thats great..

but if the ballast isn't made by Hella it might not last you in the long run. also the bulbs should be philips as they perform the best good luck thumbsup

The only thing is that one bulb doesn't work...(Probably just the bulb...)

for $30 it's good enough.. not the best kit..

it could fit in your friend's civic with the right moding though but there might be madd glare..just like if you stick that into the celica housing without moding it a bit..

just check out the thread i listed above about the celica stock housing and teh hid celica housin.. good luck thumbsup

Go for it man. Bulbs aren't that much cash compared to the rest of the kit. And yes, it's technically illegal, but no moreso than haveing too dark of window tint. Plus, cops will never know if your HIDs are the (legal) stock ones or the illegal aftermarket ones... unless you botch the install.

thumbsup

just take it man. the guy doesnt know how to install it on his honda im guessing. these things fit on anything. thats very cheap price. all you have to do is buy 2 bulbss, its not gonna cost you more than 80$ for them. a kit like that could be anything from 300 depending wuts the ####K.
change the other bulb that isnt burned also cz im assuming its gonna burn sooner or later. bulbs like that burn from a lot of movements, and accident is one of them. plus when you add a new bulb, 1 of them will look brighter than the other.
