I've heard rumors that it's safe to use throttle body cleaner on the maf. Is this true? Is it safe to use it on the thermostat and connections too?

Thanks thumbsup

you have 103,000 miles and haven't had a professional check out your car yet - you've been playing trial/error, adjusting different things to try to fix your original problems - why not bring it to a professional, someone who knows how to work with the Toyota Celica engine... or at least someone who has history of working with automobiles.

Before I bought my GTS I test drove it and found out that the mass air flow sensor was bad. They replaced it before i bought it.
