I have a few questions (some dumb) that I am hoping you more experienced tuners can help me out on for my Celtic GTS. I want to stay N/A for competition reasons. I currently have an AEM CAI, Greddy Evo Cat-back, Short shifter, etc, and am on my way to getting the Hotchkis stage 2 tvs kit. Now I'm looking for more speed:
My dumb question: Is the DC Sports Header out yet, and if yes does anyone have dynos for it?
Would you guys recommend getting the Unorthodox Ultra ss pulley kit ?
What about the Apexi Power FC ? I see that Lucky_317 has produced some very impressive numbers with it.
That is pretty much what I have planned for my celi. Please give any answers/input/suggestions. THX

cool deal, I'll look in to that. Has anyone heard of porting and polishing the Intake manifold for the GTS?

1. the dc header is still not out yet (but they have developed another prototype that should be in production soon--but what else is knew?)
2. i wouldnt recommend getting the ultra ss pulley kit or the unorthodox ultra s crank pulley. the gains are ok, but i've heard of a lot of problems they've caused and/or made existing problems worse.
3. the apexi power fc is definatly recommended if you want to stay n/a. retuning your ecu can make you take full advantage of your aftermarket components (such as i/h/e/pulleys, etc) as well as grab a few more 'free' horses just from your engine (in exense of increased wear on your engine).
and as already mentioned..trial makes what they call a 3zz engine kit but what we like to call a 2zz stroker kit that makes some very nice gains and still, technically, maintaining n/a status.

(GT to 3ZZ) is only $600 more than (GTS to 3ZZ). Couple that with a Power FC and that would give us GT's some respectable power gains -

What kind of problems do the pulleys cause? And you mention pulleys in your recommendation for the Power FC. Are there other pulleys available that would be worth while?

some members that have the pulleys complained of their cars 'balking' and one member attributed them to some serious engine problem (which personally i do not think caused the engine problem..but i assume the pulleys did not help). the aem underdrive pulley is reliable..but it will only give you 1-2 extra whp (but for about $60 thats pretty good)
