I was talking to a friend at P&G the company that produces these. He said all you have to do is put Dawn (dish washing soap) in and it will work just fine. He said thats all they really use but just charge more for it. I used it just fine so hopefully this will save everyone some money.

diahwater soap can destroy your clearcoat.

soap made specifically for cars do not, on the other hand. thumbsup

I think the point he was making is that you can use anything in there. Just go buy a quart of car wash soap from target thumbsup

I just got done using the Mr Clean setup for the first time... works pretty well. THe windows weren't perfect, but the rest of the car turned out pretty sweet. It would have been better if I took the time to do a good job scrubbing after the soap spray.

I have a black car so there are a lot of water streaks (rather than water spots) on the car after using it. I guess it's easier to see shit if you have a black car. I still highly recommend the product though, saves dry time by a lot smile

I use Dawn TO STRIP WAX on cars I detail . Dawn is a wax stripper!!!
