Anyone here ever ship a car cross country? I'm thinking about selling a car, and if the buyer is across the country, I want to ship it. Anyone know of a respectable company to use for covered transport? Cost?
I have seen $600-$1000 depending on where you're at. Being on the coast can get expensive if you're shipping the opposite way. Not familar with any specific companies though.
Ask prospective shippers about the vehicle being insured and if there is any bonding of employees involved.
