I just cleaned the throttle body and some of the idle hesitation is gone, but I still have a frequent hesitation pulling out of a stop below 600 Rpm.

The car is 7 gen 2000 Celica GT auto with 103000 miles on it. So good bet its the Intake manifold. Yup lots of miles... or pictures

Any pointers grin on cleanign the Intake manifold steps,[/color] pics would be great.

Also does the car have an idle value that sits along with the throttle body?

my car is doing the same thing but I haven't gotten around to cleaning my throttle body or mafs yet. I'm going to do both this weekend. Anyone have any other suggestions?

That sucks dude, I suggest taking it to the dealer and have them take a look at it. Hope everything works out. I cleaned the throttle body on mine and it has evened out the idle grin so I decided not to try cleaning the maf myself (I'm not that experienced with cars)

how much would the dealer do this for you and how much miles should you have to do this?

it will taek you 10 minutes to do this, don't pay your dealer.

It took me longer to go buy the can of carb cleaner, open a beer, drink it, and open a new one, than it did to do this entire thing
