Is there any horse power increase if you replace the stock Air Filter for a TRD high performance Air Filter??? I heard it will give you like 5 horse power more... confused

ehhhh, I'm sure there will be some kind of gain, but it will be very minimal.

in the wctoyota.com site it claims 1-2hp. though in last import tuner magazine they had drop in filters at 0.9 hp or something...save up for a SRI or CAI. go with Injen thumbsup

For your information, K&N makes TRD air filters. Instead of purchasing a TRD drop-in filter, save & and buy a K&N.

I got the K&N drop in. Noticed a little increase of power and more aggressive sound in the higher RPMs.
