What flywheel out there makes the best gains and is reliable? I'm getting a new clutch and flywheel along with a Turbo and i need some feedback on flywheels.

Fidanza is the best from what I've heard. I think its the lightest to, and works great with the ACT clutch. I've also heard its pretty reliable, and the Celica has a strong flywheel set-up as is.

Then there's the MWR flywheel coming out, and TRD (among others), but I would go with Findanza.

If you have no intentions of raising your rev limiter then I would not go to a lighter flywheel. You'll always land out of lift. and yes even with a Turbo it'll slow you down a bit.

always land out of lift? I hope this isn't true, lol. I haven't landed in lift since i got my fidanza, but i saw a vid of a guy landing lift with fidanza flywheel so i believe it can be done. BTW i love my fidanza flywheel, It pulls a lot harder in the low rpms compared to stock and it really gets going from a roll. Drivabiltiy isn't too much of an issue. The RPMs do drop really quick so ya gotta shift quick durring daily driving to avoid jerks.

trd japan's flywheel isn't as light as the fidanza (9.6 lbs instead of 7.5) plus it's chromolly instead of aluminum. i haven't heard of anyone having issues with lift by having the trd.

It's not impossible to land lift with the fidanza. just harder smile since a lot of people have a problem doing it normally it'll make it harder. lol
if you dont mind then by all means go for it. every mod counts smile

give me a month and i will be landing in lift with my fidanza. The key i believe is to not let all the way off the gas but to modulate the rpms to fall slower. 1-2 shift is the only one where you have to do that and chirp the tires. The 2-3 shift when shifted properly lands right around 6.12ish with no wheel chirp and 3-4 you can short shift.
