haved my car for about 2 months now and just saw that the dealership that i bought my car from have a red 2000 celica gts manual and just wondering if they would say anything about my Injen Intake that i installed not long ago and would that void my warranty completely and not accept trade?
another problem why i was considering trade was because i've just receive a letter in the mail stating the my application did not include a lien release from a lienholder, so basically the title of the car ain't rightfully mine and if my dealer can't do nothing about it (going to dealer tomorrow) i can't keep the car and just trade it in for a GTS with a clean title if possible... basically i'll take my Carbon Fiber hood off before i trade it but not the Intake cause it's a pain to take out and put back stock Intake because of some modification
5280vvti thats not true.. i went to toyota dealership while ago to fix my front lights because of water got through there and while i was waiting there for them to fix it, i asked one of the part guys and asked if i put an Intake on my car would it void my warranty? and they said yes it will void your warranty if you put a Intake on. that didnt make my day because i want to put one on but i dont wanna void my warranty.
that makes me afraid of taking my car to the dealer with all my mods on, guess i'll just take my old car & get my paper i got in the mail resolve if possible because i still love my GT
actually you CAN put Intake and other aftermarket parts on your car other then TRD but you have to have the dealership install it or your waranty is voided
