Um I think that you've got those two bolts behind them. One of them looks impossible to reach easily though. ...and I can't find anything in installs

There are four bolts holding the seat backs on... two per back... fold them down, and you can't miss them. They're right at the bottom of the seatback under the upholstery (which just folds up out of the way). The seat bottom is only held on by two big clips... in the middle of each side. Grab the bottom with both hands and pull up hard... it will just pop off. Watch out, you'll probably hit your head on the ceiling of the car when you pull the clips out. If you need any other help, drop me a PM.

you gotta be kidding me?
theres 4 bolts
all extraordinarily easy to do, i can get em out in like 2 min max.
you need a 12mm socket and 3/8s drive wratchet with 3 in extention.
once the bolts are off push down on the seat, as there are hooks on the brackets that secure the seats on, and slide the seat towards the front of the car. should come right out.

yea i just removed the backseats and all rear interior plastics on my 00 gts to replace the rear speakers and run some wires, you on the 00 you need to take out the 2 bolts on each side(that bolt into the side panels), then the two in the middle(after you push the seat backs forward you can see them). that's how the verticle parts of the seats come out, i tried taking the bottom part out but it wouldn't pull out any way and i couldnt find any clips are anything so i left them in, i didn't need to take them out anyway, i was just curious. thanks for the info carbon blue gt i will know for next time, but i think you forgot to tell him about those two bolts in the center.. -don
