So, its about 96+ degrees outside and I know its a pain to dry a car w/o spots before the sun drys it, but I decide to wash my celi anyways. I take my time and wash away.. then i dry.. In some areas I have to re-wet the car to be able to dry it w/o spots.. (you know how it goes). So I do this often. I'm working on the last section of the car, and decide it needed to be re-wet, grab the hose and very gently spray ONLY that scetion, toss the hose aside and...

...it lands on the spray handle, thus putting a nice mist in the air...covering my entire car with spots. angry

Try the MR. Clean auto washer it works really well, it has filters in it so the last thing you do is rinse the car completely with the filtered water, no spots.

Yea, I heard about that thing. I think it mostly left spots cause of how hot and dry out it is.. my car was drying even before I finish soaping and washing. Took me a while, but she's sparklin' now. Just gotta get the inside done (soon as it cools off a little more).

I prefer trying a car when its warm. Once the water drops r dried up just take a damp rag and run it over and they come out. When the car is still wet, you have to worry about wringing the rag out and its just harder when its wet.

I used my Mr. Clean stuff yesterday, and it was blazing here too.

Worked just fine though!

Of course, the next day there were already places that needed to be cleaned again (due to the horribly dusty and dry enviroment I live in) frown

I wash my Celica and after there are tons of spots and residue of road tar, tire junk, water spots, etc. The best thing I found for washes between waxes is to wash your car, hand dry it, and then use a microfibre towel to add some spray on wax like Mothers, Black Magic, Meguirs, or whatever. It will get rid of all spots, add a shine, pick up dirt and residue, and make you happy. The microfibre towels are washable, pickup more water than a shamois, and trap more dirt than those whool mits. I have two combo packs of 3 towels. 1 for cleaning, 1 for windows, and 1 for polishing. The window microfibre is the best period. Nothing else I ever used gets even close to the cleaning or cleaning time of those microfiber products in all aspects. Of course I'm obsessive/compulsive cleaning freak when it comes down to my car.
