well i look it up and here it is:
Method 1
The needle will stay at the position of 5500rpm, and 85km/h (in Japanese gauge) if the gauge was detached from wiring connector. So you can recover by putting the needles that position gently. When the power is on, the needles will stay 0km/hr and 0rpm. (Of course we need the needle stopper).

Method 2
Put the needles while running the cars. I have another digital speed meters, and just put the needles while idling, and running the car at the 40 or 60km/hr.

I would do the Method 1, seem easier..Good Luck

to recalibrate your needles do this...

take the gauge cluster and plastic Hood thing over it off, so the gauges and needles are exposed.

plug the unit back in and turn the car to the ACC position so everything is on inside...you will see your needles place themselves to what 0 should be...

so, then while you still have the key on, just take the needles back off and place them back on so the needle is directly touching the little stop thingy, so then it's at 0 thumbsup

when i did my needles red, my needles would read like 4k rpm and 40 mph when i had the car on ACC...

so while it was on ACC, i just took them back off and placed them right next to the little stop thingy and then they are fine.
