Well I've been seriously looking at GTS'the past few days, and I may possibly get one. I've asked this before but I just want ot make totally sure, I'd probably be looking at an '03 GTS 6-speed and trade in my '02 GT 5-speed. Should I ask them to swap out my TRD exhaust onto the GTS, or would that just be stupid? I'm sorry that I'm asking this again, I just want to make sure... Thanks for the help everyone, its very much appreciated

Okay, so I don't think I'll bother trying to swap the exhausts if I get the car. Trade in was only 10,500 THankis for the help

turbo's gonna cost more in the long run for maintenance and upkeep when you can just get a reliable gts and not worry about problems, and i say keep ur exhaust and sell it privately

I would actually owe $12000 on the GTS. $4K would barely pay for the Turbo. Then there's install, and maintenance. While I haven't by any means ruled out getting a Turbo, I'm now thinking more about just getting some sort of FI, like an S/C or something, maybe nitrous. + There really wouldn't be much I'd want to do to a GTS. After having my GT going to that much power would be more than sufficiant (For a while anyways ). So I'd save quite a bit of money in th elong run/. +GTS also has disc brakes all around and other cool features. But for now it looks like I'm stickin with my GT / It looks like I'll have it through the rest of college, so FI might actually be a good idea.

If you could, g'head and get the GTS. I was thinking about trading my GT in but it's a 2000 with a lot of miles on it so I dismissed the idea.

I can't really afford the extra $12k right now I already checked used, and everyone one of them I've looked at sounded like like either the clutch was almost gone, or the tranny was pretty much destroyed

when you go from your gt to the gts its crazy...i felt like a sucker dropping over 2k into my gt <i/h/e,ur pullies light wieght wheels, yokohamas, springs>. all that means nothing when you get lifted. trust its a beast in stock form. i cant wait to hook it up like i did my gt.

I'm well aware of what the GTS is like I'm just imagining what my GT would be like with 163 whp, and its torque curve Probably won't quite get it there but close
