Just spent a lot of time installing my Component speakers in the door and a Profile amp to go with them. After the install, I turned the car on and got horrible alternator interference... Theres squeaking noises coming out of the front speakers. When I turned the car to accessory, they sounded fine and I was very happy with them except that it sounds like crap when I'm driving! I think I'm going to have to take it to an auto sound place unless anybody on here has experienced this before and have any ideas? btw, we checked the ground, and tried using different rca cables (these were amp manual solutions)

Usually that happens with a line level convertor but you have an aftemarket deck so that shouldn't be an issue. You can buy noise supressors, but...try a different grounding location, or make sure your rca's are far away from the power cable.

Well, I checked all my grounds and even went over them with a test light, there all good. I tried different rca cables and had no luck and even bought a radio shack noise filter and I still have that annoying sound. I also tried using a different amp to see if the amp had a problem, and still got the noise so it's not the amp. I scheduled an appointment at the local audio place for Monday...hopefully they can solve this problem cry
