I have the same problem with my car. It's a recurring problem and I've been noticing it for about a year now. My check engine light comes on and goes off by itself. It usually comes on right before I need an oil change and once I do the oilchange, it goes off. Last spring I took my car to Toyota to get it serviced. I told them about the check engine light. They said nothing was wrong. But when I took the car, the check engine light wasn't on. This reminds me, it's on now so I'll probably take my car to Toyota this week and get it checked out while the light still is on. Hopefully they don't bullshit me again and say that nothing's wrong because I wanna know why that light keeps coming on. By the way, I know one other guy with the same problem.

clean your MAF's, odds are thats the problem anyways, check in the installs section for the directions... then reset your ecu.

i checked my MAF and it was clean so i checked my oil and that was low a quart for some reason. i run royal purple all synthetic and i just changed it about 3000 miles ago so i dont understand why it would be so low . that still also doesn't explain why my car lagged last night when i drove it it had no punch like i was driving in 6 gear at 30 kind of lag which i wasn't confused

Yeah I had that same thing happen to me when my car reached about 53k miles. I took it to the local dealer and they said that I needed an engine flush.

A CEL shouldn't just be passed off as cleaning a sensor as a low idle be passed off as tightening a cable. Bring your car into Toyota, I guess they have one in Alaska and have them do a diagnostic and fix it. It should be covered under your existing warranty. Burning oil isn't good or a CEL or the combination for that matter. I would take it in and have it checked pronto.
