I'm trying to install the tweeters that came with my Infinity Reference 6000cs component system, but am running into a problem with mounting it... Anybody have any help or ideas? The system came with a bunch of universal mounting brackets but I don't think they will work.

Well, If they don't fit to flush mount them with anything in your kit you are gonna have to enlarge the opening with a dremel. Then, just snap in the adapter the kit came with then wire it up and snap in the tweeter. Don't try to use the factory metal bracket thing. Just remember next time you rip off your door panel to un-hook the tweet before pulling too hard.

I unplugged the factory plug from my tweeter, unscrewed the mount, unscrewed the tweeter, screwed my tweeter on, replaced mount, and was done! Just that easy.
