hey guys i got a question, i'm thinkning of putting a short shifter in my car, the TRD one just because i want to keep my warranty. What do you guys think of it? would it worth the money doing so? (how much would it be for labor?) Would it mess up my car? Please let me know what you guys think thx.
get twm its easy to install(unless yo do it in 20 degree weather like me) has better Performance then the trd one, also it wont mess up your car at all if its done right which is easy, only problem i had doing it was getting the wires off the plastic thingy to get the Spacers in.
A boats a boat, but the mystery box could be anything....Even a boat!
i have the trd ss and i love it it's easy to install but if you want to keep ur warrenty ur going to have to have the dealership instal it and they'll charger you a lot im not sure how much though
i've been changing but you'll never see me now now i'm blaming you for everything
by the way, Competition Toyota in Long Island wanted $450.00 to install it, according to them it was a 5 hour job.. lol... i installed it myself in 1 hour and i dont have any experience... Stay away from StealerShips.
I have a TWM bought it at PTuning.com I had it in my hands 21 hours after I payed for it by paypal took 1 hour to install If I did another one it would take me about 30 minutes
but remeber the trd is only going to be covered under warrantee if it is a early 01 or older. anything iwth the wider gates and it will void the warrantee
I've got the TRD SS and I love it. It won't mess up your car, or affect your warranty, labor time shouldn't be to bad, unless you take it where I did You could probably even do it yourself, pretty easy.
