i know there's been a bunch of posts on here about paint scuffs, infact so many that it is a pain in the ass searching for them b/c those words are used so much, anyways, a chic i work with doored my car and there isn't a dent but there is a red scrape (her car is red). what is the cheapest way to get this out and still look good b/c i am friend with this chic and she is a poor college kid like me and i don't wanna rape her on price. thanks

I think an electric buffer should do the job, thats what my friend did on his car and it worked fine.

take your car to a good bodyshop, and ask them for an estimate... most of them will give it a buff for free, so that they can give you an accurate bid. Sometimes, the buff is all that it takes to get rid of the problem.

use spot remover and it would probably get off the red from her crappy ass paint that came off her car...

then if it scratched it, use touch up paint to fix it.

If there is no body damage or real paint damage just that cars paint on yours, buff it out with a simple compound sold everywhere.

stereo glaze compound would also take it off...


go to your dealer and just tell them that you want the right stuff to take out the scuff..

if they try to charge you, tell them to stfu and that they aren't supposed to.

sounds to me like its just her paint that came off on you, just buff it that will do it

gET IT POWER POLISHED...THAT WILL GET THE SCUFF OUT IF ITS NOT A SCRAPE..IT WILL ALSO MAKE YOUR CAR LOOK LIKE NEW
