My friend just hook up some angel eyes in for his celica, it hooked them up to the low beam headlight wires, for some reason, it doens't light up that well, is that because he hooked it up to the headlight, are you suppose to hook it somewhere with more power. Let me know so we could fix it today.

power really wouldn't make that much of a diffrence cause there leds which are like 1 millie amp but if he put the wrong resistor in that will effect brightness and also the fact that the low beams are on doesn't help any

if i were him i would hook them to the parking lights or to a seperate switch

hey thats a 20 minute phone call

they are just supposed to glow basically, and yeah, putting them on at the same time with your lights is spineyes, you also have to get the right resistor, which i think is 220ohms, i forgot, i know i went through like 5 different resistors to get the right brightness. also, some leds are brighter then others, you have to experiment, and get the best brightness for your color!!

i think its 220 ohms, with 5% Tolerance, and 1/2 watts...that will give you the brightest effect with out blowing the led!!

it depends on led
some take higher voltages then other a regualr red one is like 1.5 volts while a blue is sometimes up to 2.4

i know casue a lot of my projects in electronics would switch leds so we had to change alot

jsut look at what the led requires then work from there
