Does your radio backlight still work when you turn on your lights? I had the same problem with my center console area as well as the radio backlight. Luckily my car was still under warranty so Toyota replaced the circuit assembly. According to my invoice, the technician said that the combo meter was shorted out. The replacement part number is: 83800-2B051-RP; description: Meter Assy, Combo. Hope that helps.

I've replaced that combo meter and STILL didn't fix it.

I've replaced the bulbs, the fuse, the $60 relay, the control assembly, checked all the wiring for the system for continuity. thumbsdown
