As some of you may know there are aftermarket cams that have been produced for the 1zz-FE, throught Catcams. (www.catcams.be [catcams.be])

I e-mailed the distributer about their price, availability, gains etc. He told me that they are currently testing the cams on a Spyder.

Just wanted to let you guys know about this. I will post updates as I get them. smile

I'm interested, but wondering how the VVT-I is going to be affected, as well as gas mileage

yeah, we'll see how it goes, cams are one of the few things i cant do yet to spruce up my internals, i dont want to get them from catcams till i see some results against the vvt-i engine, but once dynos and reliability are shown then ill buy, still remaining though is the crankshaft!!

What about the VVTLi? We're all brothers and sisters here. I e-mailed Piper cams, but no reply. We should all reap in the benefits.

theres really no point to make cams for the gts, other then to reinforce the strength, the gts cams are almost perfect, there made just the way they should be kept!!
