I am going to take another look at the oem 2003 tails, but from what I remember, they looked good. I am thinking of getting them. they are $160 CDN at my toyota dealer.

like the trd body kit (or "action package") altezza tail lights are becoming the common mod for the celica. but, if you really like those styles go for it. don't depend too much on someone else's opinion. an opinion is like an a-hole. everyone has one. [Razz]

lots to choose from, but please don't get altezzas, go red out or 2003 tails. I have a 2003 celica I think the tail lights are perfect! Please stay away from the meatball tail lights, too honda!

TYC red outs, nice choice, get them from Nopi. You never know what your getting into with ebay. At least from Nopi you know your getting the real deal and you'll get nopi customer support if you have any problems, its worth another $40 thumbsup

Those are nice, but I heard they don't fit properly. But I honestly think that you should just red out your tail lights, it will only cost you a few dollars and looks great...and spend that money you would have spent on the tail lights and put it towards a different mod on your car...thats just what I would do smile

I agree with Karrion the "smoked-look" looks good on a red celica.

As for what princess said yes it is totally possible. Some people have had bad experiences with aftermarket lights and them not fitting flush on the back.

Its possible, thats why I said go with nopi, they will let you send them back for a refund of your money.
Smoke out or red out looks great on stock tails, its not a bad option.

Bat, how good do those smoke tint overlays for the taillights fit? I may get them and put them over my TYC gunmetal tails to make it flush with the black on the car better. Are they hard to put on?

I have pics of the v14 kit on TYC's and Altezza's! I'll be posting them soon. Application is straightforward, patience is the key thumbsup

by reading through this thread i still can't find an actual answer as to how to smoke the rear tail lights. i have a 2000 stock with red vinyl overlays i still need to apply and i'm eventually planning to swap in 2003 tail lights. are the smoke applications another overlay or some type of spray paint? confused

Nice dude, post them as soon as possible, I want to see what it will look like! I am really considering the smoked kit for my TYC's, too much red for me with them.

Most people order the v9 rtedout kit, then add the v14 smoke kit over it. The red Celi in the pics have the v9 and v14 kit. It's all about personal preference wink . The v14 kit is $28 shipped smile . Check or money order. Email me when you're ready thumbsup
