Ok my celi is dropped on eibach sportlines and I have 17 inch Konig imagines. I'm due for new tires. Does anyone have an idea of the best tires to put on. Right now I have 205/45/zr17 inch size tires. I'm looking fo2qr a different size to put on to feel in the extra gap but im not sure if it would be safe to put on 215/40/zr17's. Can I get some opinions on what wheels to get? Help me out folks.

it would be safe to put on 215/40s but if your going to go with a 40 sidewall you might as well get 225/40s (i'm guessing from your 215 stated that you have 7.5" wide rims and 225s will fit as well).

if you want to fill in the extra gap, i'd bump it up to the stock sidewall (for gts) of 50 instead of 40. you're ride will be softer and your overall tire diameter will still be less than 1/2"

yes it's a 'miata tire size calculator' but obviously this will work for any size tire/rim combination on any car
