i was told that the tsrm is really loud. i am looking for a quiet exhaust -- the people at the shop told me that either the greddy evo 2 or the tshm would be a better one for me . which is better? are they right?
my advice: get the trd exhaust (extended if you have a body kit, regular if you don't and don't plan to get a bodykit)
exactly
just saying: i've seen dynos of the trd exhaust and they give a 4 whp gain with a pure bolt-on.
tsrm is supposed to have good gains as well, but i've yet to see a 3rd party dyno of it. until i see one and find that the gains are on par or better than the trd...i recommend the trd exhaust.
trd is also one of the lightest exhausts available
personally i just dont like the look and sound of the TRD exhaust, but thats just me. i no many people hear love it, it does have awsome gains, but i love the sound of TSRM...
ok help me out guys--is the TSHM a good pick or what. i just dont want to hear that ricy sound or a loud whinning sound driving around on the highways. or would i be ok with the tsrm?
Ok.. First of all, what is Ricy?? hum I thought I knew but now I'm not sure.. Ok, The Evo sucks for the Celica??? Hum friends has an EVO for his Prelude and its nice.. it quiet but once is running it has this deep sound and you can tell there is no way is stock.. even when its not in motion you can tell its not stock.. well I was going to get an EVO as well, but since I am hearing from a CELICA OWNER that it sucks and its heavy.. them I won't!

ricy exhausts:
1. sounds likea tin can being kicked around
2. sounds loud 24/7..even at very low rpms when you're engine is practically running idle.
clean exhausts:
1. quiet at low rpms 2. nice, steady moan or growl at higher rpms

^^ yes, you'll be fine.
as far as sound goes, the tsrm is not ricy and will give you a sound that most people love at higher rpms
the guys at the shop just kept saying that they had one on an integra and it was louder than crap. i just dont want anything that will piss me offf to no end to hear.
