is it manual? Try getting on the floor and making sure that the clutch is pressed ALL the way in. Otherwise jump it and take her to Toyota

Might be your alternator not working correctly, therefor it is not charging your battery. thumbsup

If it goes click when you turn the key, it means there is some power. Do you still have interior dome light? IT could be a partial fault in your starter solenoid, or in the starter itself.

^^^ Nah i don't think that is his problem because when he jumps it, it starts. If it was starter related even if you jumped it it still would not start.

It has to be in his charging system or the battery is fucked.

Yes, It is a manual. when I had my old battery in there, I had to push the clutch all the way to the floor to get it started usually. When it died, I replaced it and it is still screwed.

I had a simular problem. Batt was fine, but when I tried to start it, the solenoid was heard to "click" on, but nothing from the starter. If their is enough power to engage the solenoid, there should be at least a slow turn-0ver from the starter. Maybe a bad starter ground? Batt at 12v not enough to turn it over, but enough from a boost (14.6v).
Anyways, I had my starter swaped out, and problem went away.
