Just installed AEM pulley

I just installed the AEM pulley,
must say that the instructions are crap.
You do not need to remove the alternator,
nor the engine cover.
I just took an impact wrench and loosened
the pulley nut, popped the belt off.
Putting the new belt was a little difficult, since
the engine was still kinda hot, took me about
10mins. put the pulley on, then the belt. All together about 30mins. Its true about needing the power of Zeus to relieve the tension wink

I don't really notice any difference with the pulley, lights don't dim and at high rpm's I don't notice anything significant...

The pulley is more for throttle response and a little increase in the low end.

ok, I've tried, everything looks good, I turned on my highbeams, a/c, rear defogger, dome light, stereo and brake lights. No dimming. Although I plan on putting in a bigger battery, just not sure what group size to get or what not.

I'm starting to notice the difference now that I've driven it some more, nice little boost, I'm content with this mod!

grin
I have a 2000 gts with a TRD Air Filter and TRD exhaust. TRD springs & shocks, vizage body kit, celebrity race graphics kit.

Wouldn't take a little bit of time for the ECU to get acquainted with it? Maybe I'm completely wrong.

I dont think the ecu would need to get aquainted with the pulley since it's strictly a mechanical mod. No hoses or electrical cords monitor the actual pulley, just the alternator. With stuff like Intakes and exhausts, the ecu has to make changes in fuel supply because the mods have an internal effect on the engine, and they are also monitored by the ecu itself.
