I'm buying LED's off of the Didi-Key website, and was wondering, do the LED's that I buy need to be 1206 OR 1206 Rear Mount.

I'm doing the LED's in the gauges and in the LCD (odometer, temp, gas, etc.). I need 10 for the gauges and 13 for the LCD, correct?

This is the part number for the LED's I'm using for the gauges...160-1186-1-ND

And is this the right part number for the blue gauges that I need for the LCD? 160-1401-2-ND

Or is this it? 160-1454-2-ND

Also, the LED needs to be "clear", correct?

Here is a LINK [us.digikey.com] to the Digi-Key website where you can input the part number to look at the LED's. It won't let me link directly to the product itself, so you will have to copy and past the product number into the search query yourself.

Thanks.

Just copy and paste the part number into the "Parts Search" field on the home page. Thanks.

I know that there are people who have done this mod. What were the specs on the LED's you used?

He didn't give part numbers for the blue ones.

Should they be reverse mount like the red ones?

Oh, and the blue ones seem to have a higher wattage than the red. That ok?

But how many do I need for the LCD and the gauges. How many for each that is?

Red 160-1222-1-ND
Amber 160-1221-1-ND
Yellow 160-1224-1-ND

What's the difference between the packaging?

I believe that they charge a dollar more per LED for one of those! eek
