I managed to save some cash this winter and i am ready to buy mysef something nice. Do you think i should get a new set of rims (konig vertick) or a power fc? I have a 2001 gts with an aem cai, tru power pulley, custom dual ehaust, trial headers, apr spoiler, and veilside body kit. So what do you think- more show or more go?

DAmn!!! that's hard...I'm for the rims since you've got tons of motor. The rims will help the body kit, and make your car look more complete in my opinion. If you didn't have all that engine stuff I'd say go with the power Fc hands down...if you got it now, your car will just plain fly

you can see my problem? what to do? I do kinda need new tires, but just think how fast the celica would be with the power fc

also don't forget the power fc isn't obd complient i don't think so if you do get that every time you get car inspected you'll have to throw the old ecu back in which might not like it anndddd you wil need to have it dyno tuned cause i don't see any programs for all that you have and its safer anyway

but if i had the money i would still go with the pfc the shizzels off the hizzel

Power FC, it's the mod that keeps on giving, if you get one and have it dyno tuned you will see a huge increase. Rims are stupid, everyone is picky about em. Just stay with the stock ones. What it really comes down to is, do you like speed or looks more?

power fc...it will complement your "breather" mods and...with all that stuff in your car (i.e. i/h/e/p)you should be at around 175+whp...wow...get us some dyno charts wen you get your power fc...this is something to see...

it is my goal to get the celica to 200 whp, and rims arent going to help that. It is around 181 whp by my figure. 156 stock, aem cai 13, pulley 1, header and exhaust 11, and these are all low balled numbers. I really need to get it dynoed. but all that plus a power fc, look out!

you would be able to get 180whp with the pfc but by no means are you at 180 with those mods, unless your on a "bragging rights" dyno, where they jacked up the correction figures.

170's is about right with your mods. The trial header makes the engine run a bit lean from 14.0-16.0.

I'd go with the pfc if I were you
