I have a similar thing going on too, it was something to do with the harness or something and at low volumes when I am I drive or have the engine on that it makes this high pitch sound.. which can be solved by merely turning up the stereo or turning it right off.. sucks because I paid like around $300 just to have the thing installed and I end up with that problem.

if its on the inside its prolly a grounding issue, but if its outside check the PS pump, they make that sound when going

nvm i'll just take it to the dealer. i'll tell them about the way it sounds and a squeeking noise i hear sometimes when i start the engine. Maybe its one of the belts idk. and i can feel a little loss of power. they're probably just gonna tell me theres nothing wrong with it after i wait hours and im just being paranoid. thumbsdown
