My Kam. rear didn't come with grills, but you can buy some at any home improvement store (lowes, home depot, etc.) - it's called "gutter guard"

laughsilly cool cool

There's a couple ways to attach the gril..

1. You can drill small holes and attach it with zip ties (I'd leave this to the body shop)

or

2. You can use an adhesive to hold it in place, around the edge of the grill (again, I'd let the bodyshop handle this).

There are probably other creative ideas on how to attach it, but these, I believe, are the most common ways.

hello. here's a thread on the grill material https://celicahobby.com/ubbthrea...&PHPSESSID=

I agree^^ Evan is right but ...

What I did to install mine I used Black Zip Ties since the black ones are UV resistant over the white ones. I also drilled a few holes but thats about it. You ought to check the install section on the site as I believe someone made an install guide there.. good luck..post pics when you get it done thumbsup

^ If you attach the zip ties just right (by drilling in an inconspicuous location), no one will ever know they're there wink thumbsup

Kaminari also sells grills for their kits - a lot more expensive than the "gutter guard" but I prefer it because it's not generic... seems like better quality as well

Yeah I didn't mention that because he said he's dropping off his car tomorrow.

Where can I buy this? I don't want a hardware store selling me parts for my car. Even though there no diffrence, it just makes me feel like a ricer.

^^^
here's some info:

1. Kaminari does sell the grill that you see on their car
2. The part number is: K0GRILL (-the second character is a zero)
3. Go to the order page on Kaminari's website, direct link: www.kaminari.com/order.htm [kaminari.com]
4. You need 3 pieces if you have a full Kaminari kit
5. Each piece is $40, add $20 for shipping
6. Call the number on the bottom of the order page to confirm it

here's a pic of the hexagonal Kam grill:

^^ or you can spend siginficantly less for a not-so-significant difference in quality if you do it yourself.

it's basically just an aluminum 'honeycomb' mesh...whitch you can find at an arts & craft store and many hardware stores (although i havnt seen them in home depot)
