Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior question on cold air intake?

i found on ebay a bomz racing cold air intake...does anybody know anything about this intake because i can buy it now for 35 dollars...and that seems pretty cheap to me...and it sounds too good to be true...please let me know anything about it...thanks

what does it look like? Usually these too good to be true scenarios are "too good to be true" and you get shafted. Got a link?

you get what you pay for so if it is cheap i would not expect anything that good

umm, that intake says it fits the GTS and GT. Intakes are not universal like that. This is your call man, I wouldn't do it. When I mod my car I do lots of research and make sure I get a quality product. If you mod your car, make sure you do it right. Just my 2 cents.

thanks for the opinions...im lookin at the aem one...but i still have second thoughts on gettin an intake in general because i heard about the check engine light comin on...and i had an eclipse where i had an ice man intake on it..the check engine light came on..someone told me to jus disconnect the battery and connect it again...a year later my engine was f*cked..i dunno...
