today i got my alpine head unit installed...
but they guy who installed it didn't use a wire harness because "they ran out", but when i called earlier they said they had everything ready and just for me to bring the vehicle... <img src=" title="" src="graemlins/bs.gif" />
well... they had to bypass the stock amp and splice into the wires,
now i know there's supposed to be 8 speakers in my gts, but i only count 2 front,2 back, and 2 tweeters...
where's the other 2?
after driving it from the shop, i realized that they didn't hook up my two tweeters [Mad]
how do i go about hooking those up??
and how do i check for my other 2 speakers and see if they wired them up too?
if anyone can help me with wiring up the tweeters, please email me at asian_resident1@msn.com

I cant really help you with the wiring problems, but from what i've heard, the other two speakers are stacked behind the ones in the door. If i were you though, i'd take it back to the shop and let them know what your problem is.

its an hour and half drive back to the shop...
and i don't want them to charge me more to fix their skrew-up...so i guess i'll have to fix it myself...
are there any people out there who installed their own head units??
how did you hook up the two tweeters? man, what a pain in the ass!

You have to do series wiring and it's kinda complicated if you don't know what you're doing. Anywase I installed my alpine deck like a few weeks ago I followed the guide here: http://www.clubcelica.com/tech/stereo/

I think that should help you. Good luck thumbsup
