Ok so im pretty sure i wanna go with the TRD Kazuma exhaust for my 2000 Celica GT, but just a few questions, ok so im gonna need the extended one for pretty much ANY body kit..right? and then also is the piping just straight from the headers? or does it go through the catalytic conveter? and also, will it pass emissions in Reno, NV?

You sure your not talking about the regular TRD exhaust? The kazuma is 50 state...illegal! due to the sound and possibly emissions...NorwayGT has the TRD Kazuma so he can answer more questions on it. He says that at 3k RPMS's...its louder then a celica at 7k.

I'm pretty sure people have said that it does pass emissions, just not DB(sound) laws.

A post in that thread:

"Nobody here knows nothing about this exaust... Here are the facts. IT WILL pass emissions laws in all 50 states. You do NOT remove the CAT. The CAT is what makes you 50 state emissions legal. YOU can BOLT it on with a FLANGE set up. If not YOU MUST cut the resonator and WELD then. You WILL be over 95dbs and that is ILLEGAL. You can help this by welding another resonator on, preferably one thats more of a glasspack(fiberglass) and/or use a silencer.

If you choose not it, it will be LOUD. You can get buy driving around at normal speeds with normal driving habbits without any problems. When you wail on it, you will wake up the whole world, and the cops will nab you from blocks away. If your smart and you dont wail in the worng places you will be just fine with the exhaust."

I got Kazuma.
I think it's fine for emissions.
There is barely any loss in gas mileage either.
I have the TRD rear and it does not go further out than the rear itself does. U dun really need to get the extended one unless you want ppl to know you got an exhaust. wave
Also, it hooks up straight to the CAT.
Mine has been backfiring a lot more than usual lately but it doesn't really matter. Here in FL cops don't really pay too much attention to that.
